| Mr Bean: | Yes, I'd like a cup of coffee and a doughnut, please. |
| Waiter (to Mr Smith): | And what would you like? |
| Mr Smith: | Oh, I'll have a pot of tea and a slice of apple pie. |
| Waiter: | Would you like cream with your pie? |
| Mr Smith: | No, thank you. Could I have ice cream with it instead? |
| Waiter: | Yes, of course. |
| Mr Bean: | And may I have a glass of water too? |
| Waiter: | Certainly. |
